I've been doing clay sculpture for over 30 years.
Largely self taught, I am currently a member of Titirangi Potters and WCCAC (Waitakere Arts.)
I enjoy funny and whimsical best, usually small and brightly painted and lately have been into dogs, cats, pigs and cows. After all, they share our lives and have their own personalities.
I have a small studio at home and fire electric mid range. Sometimes I go a little bigger - look for my Dragon Seat in Onehunga, the table and chair and railway sign in Onehunga, all ferro cement with hand made tiles.
Clay is a wonderful medium, so spontaneous and versatile. And ah, the delight of opening the kiln after a glaze firing.
