Born in Japan Yoko grew up surrounded by the arts.  Her father and mother were both artists. In 2013 she came to New Zealand and currently lives with her family in West Auckland where she has made a name for herself as one of the leading Micro macrame artist. Her work has transcended craft and jewellery into a fusion of something between spirituality and masterful art.  Her ability to choose stones and set them within elaborate highly skilled designs leave many people in awe. Drawing influences from yogic practices and ancient celtic wisdom it is no wonder these pieces continue to astound and offer pleasure. Her work has been featured in many ceremonies as the pieces themselves are being hailed as powerful and deeply aligned with sacred.
