Belle Bird Botanica is the passion project of film set-decorator and Piha local, Megan Vertelle.

What began as a deep love of nature and a search for clean, kind-to-skin beauty evolved into a range of small-batch, handcrafted skincare made with organic, plant-based oils and butters. Nothing synthetic, nothing harsh—just pure, nourishing goodness.
More recently a new extension of Megan’s ever-blossoming imagination is Belle Bird Ceramica, available exclusively through West Coast Gallery. These hand-built ceramic candelabras are rare treasures—celebrating femininity, wild beauty, and the imperfect poetry of natural forms. Made in between film shoots and Piha forest walks, they appear when time and inspiration align.
